2011 Asian Buddhist Forum focuses on expounding the sutras and Buddhism. “Buddhist Canons and Early Mahayana Buddhism” is the subject of the first session of this forum.

In the past the European and American scholars held this kind of forum to discuss the differences between Buddhism and Christianity for many times. It’s the first time for Asian scholars to expound the sutras only, just happening to meet the Lord Buddha’s attaining enlightenment for 2,600 years, the oriental scholars’ opinions in this forum definitely will attract the western scholars and people’s attention.
